Rick Burg
Rick brings 25 years of experience as a real estate professional to the Westgate Real Estate team. He is a graduate of Sonoma State University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Planning in 1983 and in 1988 Rick earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University.
Through his many years working as a real estate professional, Rick has developed extensive experience in land, commercial, and residential transactions. He has represented clients in the acquisition of development projects in Sonoma County and been a principal in several projects over the years. Rick has also worked as a commercial leasing agent and was a member of a Western U.S. property acquisitions team brokering deals in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Portland and Seattle.
Married to Deborah with twin sons, Rick and his family live in Petaluma and he concentrates on keeping his business local. Rick understands the obligation of giving back to the community and currently sits on the Grievance Committee of the North Bay Association of Realtors (NORBAR) and Bay Area Real Estate Information Services (BAREIS MLS), volunteers with the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties as a member of the Sonoma County Regional Council and the Educating and Engaging Commission and is a member of the Board of Trustee’s for Brandeis Hillel Day School.
